摘要: Primary small cell carcinoma of the pancreas (SCCP) is a rare malignancy with an extremely poor prognosis which accounts for 1 to 1.4 percent all pancreatic malignancies. We present case 62-year-old man half-month history upper abdominal discomfort who was diagnosed SCC tail. A Chest X-ray showed no evidence primary lung tumor. The diagnosis SCCP confirmed by post-surgery pathology and immunohistology. In our review published reports SCCP, we only found few cases reported in literatures. needs immunohistology poor. There significant increase median survival, from 6 months, treated patients compared symptomatic management. Chemotherapy most common treatment combination cisplatin/etoposide frequently prescribed. accurate necessary determining deciding appropriate therapy.
