STUDY OF IN SITU LASER DEPOSITED YBCO THIN FILMS

摘要: YBCO thin films were fabricated by laser deposition, in situ on MgO substrates, using both O2 and N2O as process gas. Films with Tc above 90 K jc of 106 A/cm2 at 77 grown oxygen a substrate temperature 765 °C. Using N2O, the optimum was 745 °C, giving 87 K. At lower temperatures, made had higher (79 K) than (66 K). SEM STM investigations film surfaces showed to consist comparatively smooth background surface distribution larger particles. Both particle size density depended temperature.
