摘要: Life in the universe as we know it is based upon systems of cells: from single-cell bacteria to trillions complexly interacting cells -an organism. It sometimes instructive consider these cellular units being “factories” containing various molecular machines consuming energy and material while carrying out complex processes manufacturing new materials (Alberts et al., 1994). Interestingly, many components -amino acids proteins protein complexes (supramolecules) organelle -are formed by self-assembly under instructions DNA. These also produce all supramolecules necessary form tissue ultimately organisms that are a million-times larger than original simple protein.
