摘要: Third-order nonlinearity one order of magnitude larger than silica is measured in bismuth-borate glasses presenting a fast response (<200 fs). The results for the sign and were obtained using combination eclipse Z scan with thermal managed scan, whereas Kerr shutter technique was employed to obtain electronic time nonlinearity, all performed 76 MHz repetition rate 150 fs pulses at 800 nm. Conventional scans picosecond regime 532 1064 nm also independently performed, yielding values third-order nonlinear susceptibilities those wavelengths. femtosecond response, enhanced this glass (with respect silica), place system as an important tool development photonics devices. Electro-optical modulators, optical switches, frequency converters are some applications second-order properties Bi-glass based on rectification model.
