摘要: The plasmodium of the slime mould Physarum polycephalum forms a transportation network veins, in which protoplasm is transported due to peristaltic pumping. This planar, weighted, undirected graph that, for first time, can be extracted automatically from photographs or movies. Thus, data real networks have now become available investigation properties. We determine local drag vein segments and use these calculate transport efficiency. unravel veins form backbone by using centrality measure theory. principal lie on relatively ample cycles most important are those that belong simultaneously two cycles. Each cycle contains series smaller lower efficiency, thus reflecting hierarchical self-similar structure network. Finally, we accessibility maps show how easily different nodes may reached given reference node.
