摘要: The morphological features of pollen and seed Araucaria angustifolia have led to the proposal limited gene dispersal for this species. We used nuclear microsatellite AFLP markers assess patterns genetic variation in six natural populations at intra- inter-population level, related our findings Estimates both fine-scale spatial structure (SGS) migration rate suggest relatively short-distance dispersal. However, differed among populations, effects more efficient within population were observed least one stand. In addition, even though some may be aggregated principally barochorous species, reasonable secondary dispersal, presumably facilitated by animals, overlap shadows is suggested. Overall, no correlation was between levels SGS inbreeding, density or age structure, except that a higher level revealed with number juvenile individuals. A low estimate migrants per generation two neighbouring implies flow. expect stepping-stone flow contributed differentiation previous survey. Thus, strategies maintenance remnant should considered order avoid degrading fragmentation on evolution A. angustifolia.
