摘要: Trypanosomatids are unicellular protozoan parasites that cause many diseases in animals, including humans, and plants. These early divergent eukaryotes have singular structures processes, the hyper-modified ‘base J’, a mitochondrial DNA network, RNA editing, trans-splicing; all of these unique features involve wide variety specific DNA/RNA helicases. In this work, genomes trypanosomatids were analyzed by data mining, searching for genes coding Specific motifs full-length sequences from families present helicase's superfamilies (SFs) 1 2 used as baits genome analyses. A total 328 putative helicases identified; 204 assigned to SF2, 42 SF1, 76 remain unclassified. Eight species-specific SF2 also found; Trypanosoma cruzi has three DEAD-box one DEAH/RHA-specific helicases, while Leishmania major Swi2/Snf2 brucei only RigI helicase. Finally, identify could be future therapeutic targets, obtained compared with those human genome. Forty-two underrepresented constituting 16 orthologs groups L. major, T. brucei, T. cruzi.
