摘要: Rumex thyrsiflorus Fingerh. is a dioecious plant with polymorphic sex chromosomes (XX in females, XY1Y2 males). This species an interesting for study on the structure and function of chromosomes, ratio, also valuable source bioactive constituents. A procedure micropropagation R. from hypocotyl explants, which can be useful analyses sex-specific morphogenetic reactions under vitro conditions, was developed. The molecular analysis, based genetic markers, allowed explants to determined order create male or female cultures. Regeneration primarily occurred via indirect adventitious shoot formation as well somatic embryogenesis, confirmed by histological scanning electron microscope (SEM) analyses. highest frequency that revealed response number regenerated buds (average 11.5 shoots per explant) obtained Murashige Skoog (MS) medium supplemented 2.27 µM thidiazuron (TDZ). Molecular analysis female-biased ratio these conditions. relationship between their potential studied. efficiency morphogenesis varied two sexes depended auxin cytokinin medium. germination pattern seeds conditions analysed. No differences time terms seedling length were observed, indicated there no competition during seed when grown uniform growth
