An anterior surgical approach to aphakic cystoid macular edema.

摘要: Fifteen consecutive eyes in 14 patients (six men and eight women, ranging age from 43 to 75 years) underwent anterior vitrectomy for chronic cystoid macular edema documented by fluorescein angiography. All had either vitreous adhesions the cataract incision with pupillary distortion, or adherence of strands iris. Anterior via corneoscleral limbus was performed each case remove segment structures. Thirteen 15 showed visual improvement, 12 showing improvement two Snellen lines more. There no direct correlation between duration aphakic final acuity.
