摘要: An Echinococcus granulosus genomic library has been screened with a mouse beta-actin cDNA probe. Two clones carrying DNA fragments of about 15 kb, possibly derived from the same genome region, have isolated. This 15-kb region includes 2 actin-related sequences (EgactI and EgactII) separated by 4 kb. The nucleotide both genes were determined. EgactI sequence presents no introns, but an intron 591 bp was observed in EgactII sequence. potentially encode 375 376 amino-acid-long actins, respectively, homology 85.3%. deduced amino acid compared to actin other organisms, showing similarities ranging 63.5% 90.6%. partial clone acids showed 90.3% 88.0% relation suggesting existence at least one more gene E. granulosus. hypothesis is reinforced number bands detected Southern blot analysis. Experiments based on amplification segments using 3'-specific primers indicate that transcribed protoscoleces.
