摘要: Sensory cilia are organelles that convey information to the cell from extracellular environment. In vertebrates, ciliary dysfunction results in ciliopathies humans comprise a wide spectrum of developmental disorders. Drosophila, sensory found only neurons type I organs, but also has dramatic consequences this organism because it impairs mechanosensory properties bristles and chaetae leads uncoordination, crippling condition causes lethality shortly after eclosion. The cilium is defined by membrane, protrusion membrane envelops core structure known as axoneme, microtubule array extends along basal body. body function requires centriolar distal subdistal appendages satellites. Because these structures acquired through centriole maturation, mother centrioles can serve bodies. Here, we show although maturity traits lacking fate reserved Drosophila neurons. Moreover, depletion daughter-centriole-specific protein Centrobin (CNB) enables daughter dock on template an ectopic axoneme that, structurally defective, protrudes out enveloped membrane. Conversely, capability inhibited modified carry CNB. These reveal crucial role CNB regulating ciliated organs.
