摘要: A binocular stereo system for images coded by visual pattern image coding (VPIC) is presented and evaluated. The use of VPIC vision applications motivated the capability its primitives to reflect meaningful physical properties projected real-scene surfaces: high-information edge regions uniform regions. An algorithm spatial matching proposed. dense disparity map obtained then used, together with one pair, predict second image. proposed allows a very high compression overall information.
