摘要: To gain a more thorough understanding of the dynamics swarming bacteria, nonlabeled cell tracking algorithm was used to study velocity field flagellated Serratia marcescens, on soft agar plate. The average velocities for local regions regularly arranged over entire flow were investigated. bacteria typically featured combination curvilinear translation and vortex modes. They repeated these patterns short periods time, forming several groups dissipating. further investigate generated by collective motion swarm spatially correlated. highest correlation lengths have been found occur in region from 0.5to1mm edge, followed steady decline as distance edge increases, sudden decrease occurs between 2 4mm edge.
