摘要: Objective: Prevalence rates for dissociative disorders among psychiatric in-patients vary widely. The aim of this meta-analysis is to offer an explanation these differences. Method: studies using a clinical diagnostic interview were included. Hypotheses concerning the impact blind versus not designs, choice instrument and continental background tested. Results: Nine met inclusion criteria. In prevalence rate was significantly lower (but DID). Studies SCID-D (compared DDIS) European had both as well DID. Conclusion: cultural differences in interpretation symptoms are major explanations DID. Comparative, research DDIS assessment advised.
