摘要: Diabetes mellitus significantly affects the male reproduction and sexual function. In present study, we investigated diabetes-induced dysfunction of seminal vesicles (SVs) in diabetes-rat model role antioxidants. Streptozotocin-induced diabetes after 4 weeks caused smaller size organs, hypercontractility, histological abnormalities, increased concentrations malondialdehyde serum tissue, overexpression oxidative stress markers, cleaved caspase-3 as identified by immunohistochemistry SVs. addition, resulted deceased levels testosterone no newborns mating studies. Antioxidants normalized all above parameters, except for severely decreased negative outcome The study gives evidence important function structure these androgen-dependent organs. may be a promising supplementary therapy diabetic patients to alleviate ejaculatory disorders but alone is not efficient treatment mitigation infertility.
