摘要: Enzyme activities developing in invading inflammatory cells and connective tissue (stromal fibroblasts) during the “lag phase” of wound repair have been studied. 5-Nucleotidase a formalin-resistant, cyanide- phenylhydrazine-sensitive “oxidase-like” reaction were investigated histochemically rat corneal wounds 6, 12, 24, 48, 96 168 hr duration. The carliest white blood (polymorphonuclear leukocytes mononuclear leukocytes) negative for both 5-nucleotidase formalin-resistant reaction. An intense was found polymorphonuclear 24-hr wounds. normally stromal cells, as well epithelium endothelium, also became intensely rich activity within 24 after injury. This began to decrease all cell types at only faint or 7 days. order appearance various was: (6–12 hr); (24 hr), (24–48 epithelial (96 hr). these (except epithelium) first appeared located near edge gradually spread through most stroma by 48 hr. Between 4 days restricted edge. more numerous were, enzyme reactions cells. It that there some occurring wound, vicinity which influenced its range develop activate
