摘要: A matched case–control study was conducted to determine the risk factors for development of candidaemia in patients requiring intensive-care unit (ICU) treatment more than 48 h. Patients were according length ICU stay, age, department admission, year admission and sex. Forty-five with identified (0.6 cases/1000 patient-days). Candidaemia developed mainly critically ill multiple organ failure end-stage disease. Candida colonization gastrointestinal surgery independently associated candidaemia. total in-hospital mortality 40% 66.7%, respectively. Candidaemia-related 20%. only variable (p 0.008).
