摘要: Gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM) is defined as a glucose intolerance of varying severity with onset or first recognition during pregnancy. The prevalence GDM growing rapidly worldwide, resulting in numerous and serious complications for both mother foetus. Two major metabolic disorders, insulin resistance β cells dysfunction, are currently linked to the pathogenesis GDM, although cellular mechanisms involved development not yet completely understood. Increasing evidence from clinical experimental studies indicates that adipose tissue characterised by abnormal production adipokines, an essential factor GDM. To date, several tissue-derived hormones have been identified, including leptin, adiponectin, resistin, visfatin, apelin, retinol-binding protein 4 (RBP-4), vaspin, omentin. relationship leptin adiponectin relatively well documented, but molecular which these affect fully known. other aforementioned adipokines appear be also important players pathophysiology their precise function this complex process remains established. aim article review literature concerning between above-mentioned clarify role
