摘要: Abstract Ethnopharmacology relevance Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) is a severe psychiatric that characterized by symptoms of re-experiencing, avoidance and hyperarousal, as well social professional dysfunction at least one month after the exposure to traumatic event. Biosynthesis allopregnanolone has been suggested important contributors PTSD. Albiflorin (AF) extracted from Radix paeoniae Alba had shown be effective in therapy depression. However, few studies were concerned about anti-PTSD-like effects AF. Aim study The current aimed evaluate AF an animal model its possible mechanism. Materials methods To this, single prolonged (SPS) was used present study. SPS rats administered (at doses 3.5, 7 14.0 mg/kg, i.g.) induction days 2–13. After SPS, behavioral assessments conducted, including contextual fear paradigm (CFP), elevated plus-maze test (EPMT), open-field (OFT). decapitated end tests levels prefrontal cortex, hippocampus amygdala measured enzyme linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Results It deficits reversed (7.0 i.g.), which attenuated PTSD-like associated freezing behavior CFP improved anxiogenic EPMT without affecting locomotor activity OFT. Moreover, decreased hippocampus, respectively. Conclusion In summary, indicated exerted effects, maybe with biosynthesis brain.
