摘要: Purpose: Although the androgen receptor (AR) has been found to be expressed in female breast tumours, its role cancer remains unclear. In addition oestrogen (OR) and progesterone (PR), AR functional status may important control of growth. Methods: order define cancer, 67 primary tumours 8 normal samples as tissue were analysed for expression at mRNA protein levels using RT-PCR Western blotting, respectively. The association with tumour size axillary lymph node was investigated. Expression compared that OR PR. Results: identified 66% (44/67) 51% (34/67) cancers studied by number positive level significantly higher among than samples. No detected tissue. A significant correlation between gene nuclei carcinoma demonstrated. both positively correlated invasiveness. Of specimens, 44.8% (30/67) OR-, PR- AR-positive, while 14.9% (10/67) steroid receptor-negative. However, 18% (12/67) negative PR AR. Conclusions: high incidence suggests a potential
