摘要: Estrone (E1), estradiol (E2), the catechol estrogens 2-OHE1 and 2-OHE2, diethylstilbestrol (DES) were incubated with purified prostaglandin synthase (PHS) in vitro presence of arachidonic acid their PHS-catalyzed cooxidation was determined. 2-OHE1, DES extensively metabolized by PHS peroxidase activity, E1 E2 to a lesser extent. The is accompanied an increased formation increase cyclooxygenase activity vitro; progesterone nylestriol are without effect. Prostaglandins have been proposed play role events related early estrogen action tissues such as uterus. metabolites hydroperoxidase might represent one type interaction between hormones cascade that could lead changes prostaglandins.
