摘要: Abstract Studying the physical and chemical properties of rocks is significant for understanding geological mineralization processes in mineral resource exploration. The ITRAX core scanner a fast non-destructive instrument to identify determine both characteristics rocks. In this study, used study mineralized rock samples composed marble diorite associated with from Baiyinnuoer skarn-type Zn–Pb deposit, which largest deposit northern China. Four datasets, consisting an optical image, X-radiographic magnetic susceptibility (MS) measurements, relative elemental variations, were obtained examinations. results show that characterized by high MS value, can be regarded as geophysical indicator explore deposits. Moreover, geochemical reveal sphalerite, galena, pyrite contains large proportions Si, Fe, Mn, Pb, Zn, but small amounts Ca Al. This suggests metal composition assemblages Mn case demonstrates (1) potential tool distinguish different types exploration, (2) logratio transformed mineralization, singularity index reveals uneven or other processes.
