摘要: Research on the neuropeptide relaxin-3 has predominately been conducted in rats. Anatomical studies have yielded important information distribution of and its cognate receptor (RXFP3) within brain, while functional implicated as a modulator feeding stress responses. Therefore, relaxin-3/RXFP3 system represents potential target for novel drugs to treat human disorders such obesity, anxiety, depression, but more research into this interesting different experimental species is still required. Before conducting detailed neurochemical behavioral examinations recently generated knockout mouse strain, present study determined whether was viable model deficiency.
