摘要: Recent findings on the genetic code are reviewed, including selenocysteine usage, deviations in assignments of sense and nonsense codons, RNA editing, natural ribosomal frameshifts non-orthodox codon-anticodon pairings. A multi-stage codon reading process is presented.
