摘要: The factors limiting VO2max in humans are analyzed according to a multifactorial model derived from the O2 conductance equation. In this context, alveolar ventilation (VA) and lung transfer (GL) not considered be limiting, at least sea level, because changes VA and/or GL accompanied by due shape of dissociation curve. Thus, limits shared between blood transport (FQ') peripheral factor. This last includes tissue (Ft') mitochondrial utilization (Fm'). untrained subjects is found responsible for approximately 70% overall (FQ' = 0.7), rest depending on factors. FQ', as well sum Ft' Fm', unchanged after training or upon return level following exposure chronic hypoxia (altitude higher than 5000 m). latter condition, however, since transfer, which sets Ft', facilitated, utilization, impaired, reduced Fm' increased compared control condition training.
