摘要: We present the results of velocity measurements obtained by ultrasonic Doppler velocimetry and local potential probes in flow GaInSn eutectic melt driven a two-phase inductor cylindrical container. This type is expected recent modification to floating zone technique for growth small-diameter single intermetallic compound crystals. show that structure can be changed from typical two toroidal vortices vortex increasing phase shift between currents coils 0° 90°. The latter configuration thought favourable also computed numerically, reasonable agreement with experimental found. may useful design combined electromagnetic stirrers induction heaters metal or semiconductor melts.
