摘要: Abstract Conservation conflicts are widespread and damaging for biodiversity, livelihoods human well-being. Conflict management often occurs through interventions targeting behaviour. thought to be made more effective if underpinned by evidence a Theory of Change – logical argument outlining the steps required achieve goals. However, conservation conflicts, logic supporting different types has received little attention. Using conflict-related keywords, we reviewed trends in behavioural intervention recommendations across conflict contexts globally, as published peer-reviewed literature. We developed typologies behaviours, recommendations, frames identified associations between them other geographical variables using Pearson's Chi-squared tests independence. Analysing 100 recent articles, found that technical (recommended 38% articles) significantly associated with involving wildlife control human-wildlife frame. Enforcement-based (54% over illegal resource use, while stakeholder-based (37% human-human frame very highly countries. Only 10% articles offered “strong” from scientific literature justifying only 15% outlined Theories Change. suggest likely influenced authors' perceptions social basis possibly also disciplinary silos.
