摘要: Peritoneal carcinomatosis (PC), a malignancy limited to the peritoneal surface, has severe prognosis, but new therapeutic approach resulted in cure some cases. The treatment consists of complete cytoreductive surgery combination with hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy or early postoperative chemotherapy. At present, only about 25 centers United States offer this treatment, and few have treated more than 100 This may be most promising therapy for PC from colorectal cancer requires collaboration among medical oncologists, surgeons, surface centers.
