Very early changes in circulating T3 and rT3 during development of metabolic derangement in diabetic patients.

摘要: Alterations in circulating iodothyronines were studied 15 juvenile type diabetic patients during the development of metabolic derangement after withdrawal insulin. By means measurements C peptide, one group with and without residual beta-cell function had been selected. In both groups there was a gradual decrease serum T3 12-hour period insulin, while an increase rT3 observed 4-6 hours. The alterations significantly more pronounced than function.
