摘要: This study involved a death which occurred in four Himalayan griffons housed Beijing zoo, China. Based on pathogen identification and the pathological changes observed, we did characterize fungi Hepatitis E virus (HEV) dead griffons. Pathological were severe. Membranous-like material was observed surface of internal organs. Spleen necrotic. Focal lymphocyte infiltration liver many sunflower-like nodules evident tissues, especially kidney. PCR used to identify pathogen. 18SrRNA genomic sequence known fungi, results confirmed that all infected with Aspergillus. At same time detection HEV also showed positive results. To best our knowledge, this work appears be first report concurrent presence Aspergillosis rare avian species.
