摘要: A fully mechanized immunonephelometric method for rapid and specific determination of free haemoglobin in serum, plasma, or aqueous haemolysates is described. It utilizes commercially available rabbit antiserum against human the Behring Nephelometer Analyser. single performed within 6 minutes requires 250 microliters total sample volume. The measuring range about 9-2300 mg/ml haemoglobin. Precision characterized by intraassay coefficients variation 3.4% 1.6%, interassay 8.2% 5.6% concentrations 29 mg/l 119 mg/l, respectively. Accuracy shown close correlation to cyanohaemiglobin spectrometry (r = 0.9837). Interference may occur visibly lipaemic samples. preliminary comparison different specimens drawn parallel shows lowest citrate followed heparin plasma while EDTA-plasma unsuitable this analysis.
