摘要: Abstract The failure behavior of masonry walls strengthened with composite materials and subjected to out-of-plane loading up is analytically experimentally investigated. Emphasis placed on realistically supported under conditions that restrict the elongation allow development arching action. A combined experimental–theoretical characterization wall throughout entire process a quantification their criteria are presented. experimental phase includes full-scale strips control specimen. series tests for mechanical properties interfaces involved also reported. In theoretical phase, an enhanced analytical model accounts various materials, interfaces, components spectrum load levels results theoretical–experimental comparison provide insight into throw light some its unique mechanisms.
