摘要: Alzheimer's disease (AD) is a devastative neurodegenerative disorder with complex etiology. Apoptosis, biological process that plays an essential role in normal physiology to oust few cells and contribute the growth, when impaired or influenced by various factors such as Bcl2, Bax, caspases, amyloid beta, tumor necrosis factor-α, precursor protein intracellular C-terminal domain, reactive oxygen species, perturbation of enzymes leads deleterious disorders like AD. There are diverse pathways provoke manifold events mitochondria endoplasmic reticulum (ER) execute cell death. This review summarizes crucial apoptotic mechanisms occurring both ER. It gives substantial summary studied vivo vitro. A brief account on neuroprotection several bioactive components, flavonoids antioxidants plants against ER vitro has been discussed. In light this, burgeoning need develop animal models study efficacy therapeutic effects accentuated.
