International students using online information resources to learn

摘要: This qualitative study views international students as information-using learners, through an information literacy lens. Focusing on the experiences of 25 at two Australian universities, investigates how use online resources to learn, and identifies associated learning needs. An expanded critical incident approach provided methodological framework for study. Building technique, this integrated a variety concepts research strategies. The investigation centred real-life incidents experienced by whilst using assignment purposes. Data collection involved semi-structured interviews observed resource-using task.
