摘要: Aboriginal children appear to be more likely involved in bullying than non-Aboriginal children. This paper describes part of the 'Solid Kids Solid Schools' research process and discusses some results from this three year study involving over 260 children, youth, elders, teachers Indigenous Education Officers (AIEO's), an led developed Steering Committee. It is first that contextualises bullying, using a socio-ecological model where individual, family, community society are all interrelated influence characteristics outcomes bullying. demonstrates for youth one region Western Australia, occurs frequently perpetuated by family violence, parental responses institutional racism. Addressing requires actions reduce foster positive cultural identity socio-economic disadvantage.
