摘要: • We report an experimental model that allows objective quantitation of bacterial keratitis. The permits direct measurement the number viable organisms in cornea after varying periods vivo growth. size inoculum used to produce corneal infection is critical, and organism must be standardized for its growth characteristics cornea. end point one, productive numerical data can subjected statistical analysis. findings are highly reproducible system sufficiently sensitive indicate ability a topically administered antibiotic reduce outbred rabbit population.
