摘要: This study aims to investigate the effects of insulin on bovine tracheal smooth muscle phenotype in vitro. Contractility strips and DNA-synthesis ([3H]thymidine incorporation) isolated cells were used as parameters for phenotyping. Insulin (1 microM) was mitogenic potentiated induced by other growth factors. In contrast, after pretreatment unpassaged culture, response factors strongly diminished, with no difference basal incorporation. Pretreatment organ culture increased maximal contraction methacholine KCl. These results show that acutely augments presence induces a hypercontractile decreased capacity. mechanism may be involved putative negative association between asthma type I diabetes. addition, these findings have implications use aerosolized diabetes mellitus.
