摘要: Most of the published research on outshopping (consumers buying goods in places outside their home town) has been American. This is an analysis from Newtown, Wales, UK. Information based upon a survey over 300 households was collected relating to recent purchase for six different types comparison goods. Generally, car owners were more likely, and older residents less likely have recently purchased Newtown. Outshopping also related negative attitudes Newtown′s shopping centre positive else‐where. A logit regression shows that demographic attitudinal characteristics can both important independent effects behaviour. However, out‐shopping do‐it‐yourself products, electrical furniture appears systematically these than does clothing, footwear furnishings.
