摘要: Current patterns of shopping behaviour in a small Welsh town which has experienced major decline retail facilities are examined. Those inhabitants who continue to shop in-town disproportionately drawn from the careless, elderly and poorer households, can be described as disadvanged. Their dependence on local center appears reflect constraint rather than choice. While is widely viewed inconvenient unattractive, those rely centre particularly critical access general environment. Planning intervention necessary enhance such towns stem decline.
