摘要: We investigate the melting process of a two-dimensional charge-stabilized colloidal system in presence triangular substrate potential. This potential is formed by an optical interference pattern that allows strength to be varied continuously. By means additional scanned tweezer particle density can adjusted different numbers m particles per minima; here we concentrate on case trimers, i.e., = 3. Because trimers exhibit internal degrees rotational freedom, phase behavior such very from homogeneous or one-dimensional periodic potentials.
