Profiling the Environmental Management Practices on Construction Sites in Lagos State, Nigeria

摘要: Construction site activities are associated with negative impacts on the environment and construction companies expected to mitigate these using environmental management practices (EMP) their sites based ISO 14001 requirements .However in Nigeria where industry is not regulated, it imperative explore if contractors compliant. A systematic random sampling was used select one hundred twenty (120) managers Lagos state of Nigeria; out which seventy-three (73) responded. The results analysis showed that, none were aware companies’ policy, but three most prevalent displaying posters, inspection by management, planning organizing rank order.
