摘要: Abstract — The creation of a sustainable future depends on the knowledge and involvement people, as well an understanding consequences individual actions. Construction industry has long been associated with detrimental effects to our mother earth. In Malaysia, government, professional bodies private companies are beginning take heed in necessity reduce this environmental problem without restraining need for development. This paper focuses actions undertaken by Malaysian non-government organizations construction players promoting sustainability construction. To ensure that those concerted efforts not only skin deep its impact, survey was conducted investigate awareness developers regarding issue whether absorb concept their current practices. revealed although aware rising issues sustainability, little generated from them implementing it. More effort is necessary boost application further stimulate strategies towards built environment.
