摘要: We present the first report of use remifentanil and propofol target-controlled infusion to sedate a patient with difficult airway undergoing awake fibreoptic intubation. This regimen was rapidly titratable, aided suppression reflexes, maintained comfort cooperation did not compromise spontaneous respiration. The literature regarding rates potential complications this technique is reviewed.
