摘要: CMS (cytoplasmic male sterility) can be controlled by the mitochondrion genome in higher plants, including Satsuma mandarin. Somatic fusion experiments citrus combining embryogenic callus protoplasts of one parent with leaf a second often produce cybrid plants parent, phenomenon occurring most interspecific combinations. In an attempt to practically exploit this cybridization phenomenon, we conducted somatic suspension-derived mandarin, Citrus unshiu Marc. cv. Guoqing No. 1 (G1), male-sterile cultivar, other seedy types--Hirado Buntan Pink pummelo (HBP) [Citrus grandis (L.) Osbeck], Sunburst mandarin (C. reticulata Blanco), Orie Lee hybrid Clementine x Murcott tangor), and tangor [C. C. sinensis respectively--in generate seedless cybrids targeted transfer CMS. The genetic identities regenerated from all four parental combinations were determined flow cytometry, SSR, CAPS (or PCR-RFLP), RFLP, chloroplast-SSR analyses. Regenerated first three diploids, nature G1 + HBP chloroplast was confirmed, whereas remaining two difficult confirm because close phylogenetic relatedness both parents, as expected. Plants confirmed tetraploid hybrids. This is report production symmetric cultivars parents.
