摘要: The efficiency of a seismic retrofit using externally bonded fiber-reinforced polymer composites on existing damaged reinforced concrete joints, designed prior to the introduction modern standard design code provisions in mid-1970s, are herein presented, based experimental investigations beam-column joint subassemblies. program comprises 8 external connection subassemblages tested 2 phases; first phase was damaging and second aimed repairing joints. joints had no transverse reinforcement special stirrups beam column critical lengths. These Non-Seismically (NS) were with different levels at experiment. In phase, strengthened carbon-fibre- plastics (C-FRP) sheets. From observed responses load carring capacity stiffness pre-damaged improved moderate initial damages (less than 1.5% drift ratio). Also, use CFRP sheets increased energy dissipation rehabilitated specimens comparison as-built specimen. It can be deduced that technique retrofitting (EBR) C-FRP is efficient moderately i.e. damage less ratio. This level named as repaire-ability by EBR strengthening method.
