摘要: Potential Induced Degradation (PID) is becoming a greater risk for contemporary modules due to higher voltage connections as well the availability of ungrounded PV systems using transformer-less or bi-polar inverter technology, both which create operating between module and frame. This theorized induce ions migrate through module's glass cell's surface thereby increase leakage current. In this work we demonstrate reduction possible prevention PID by employing functionalized films on inner outer surfaces front glass. These have potential retard mobility water charge carriers into out We investigate how variations in thickness energy affect typical anti-reflective coatings use today when compared no coating high durability hydrophobic coatings. Low-cost optically optimized are an attractive promising solution producing PID-resistant that independent cell technology.
