摘要: Allometry was used for monitoring aboveground growth of the marine angiosperm Zostera marina L. Dry weight regressed with leaf length and width, allowing estimation net productivity biomass individual plants. At termination experiment, rhizome same plants determined by harvesting. Plants in shaded unshaded seawater tanks were monitored from June until September, 1976; situ also at Point Judith Pond, Rhode Island, USA. Unshaded had shorter leaves, a lower productivity, biomass, aboveground-torhizome ratio than higher rate branching resulting new shoot formation
