The differences environmental philosophy between cultures profoundly shape perceptions management; 2. Cross-cultural awareness methods; 3. mechanics two-way approaches ecological research managing country (NCRM perceived by people) 4. Operational organisations. To conclude, we point out five broad principles using knowledge: (i) Recognise validity both philosophies; (ii) Create more opportunities improved understanding, respect collaborations; (iii) Involve people their interests all stages project or (including planning, design, implementation, communication evaluation); (iv) Ensure time continuity effort resources available (to undertake participatory processes trust-building innovation) (v) Establish high-level political support through legal policy frameworks maintain government commitment NCRM.
