摘要: Somatic embryogenesis of Abies alba (Mill.) has significant potential to become an effective method for vegetative propagation this species. To induce somatic in A. alba, the influence mother tree, sampling dates, and cold treatment storage cones were examined. The initiation frequencies ranged from 1.7% 16.6%. date cone storage, but not had a effect on embryogenic cultures. Storage cell lines was tested through cryopreservation 6 yr. Four out 12 cryostored recovered, regeneration cotyledonary embryos obtained with two lines. ability masses produce mean number higher when maturation protocol based suspensions dispersed filter paper. properly developed germinants only media where 32 μM abscisic acid used, being 16.2% polyethylene glycol (PEG) present 1.8% supplemented 10% (w/v) PEG, respectively. study provides evidence that it is possible cryopreserve cultures while maintaining their maturing lengthy period (6 yr) needed progeny testing field-grown trees. Therefore, our findings are important further studies advanced breeding work species; however, conversion into ex vitro conditions still remains challenge.
