Low serological positivity in patients with histology compatible with celiac disease in Perú.

摘要: Objective: to study the frequency of positive serology for celi ac disease (CD) in patients with duodenal biopsies suggestive this disease. Material and methods: cross sectional study. We included histologically compatible CD antigliadin, antiendomysial IgA antitransglutaminase anti bodies. defined a “case” if there was biopsy either antiendomisial or Results: thirty one were our Six 5 while antigliadin 14 cases. Therefore, out 31 only 10 had both antibodies, antitransglu taminase. Conclusions: a) we have found that most are not diagnosed serology; b) low correlation between serological diagnostic tests.
